Apart from the creation of 2D component geometries, any necessary technological information is also supplemented. The corresponding equipment of the machine, process strategies, in addition to certain component filters are set in the programme module CAM Manager beforehand. Then the correct calculation of starting and exchange points, driving paths, zero balance etc. and the exact functioning of the profile oriented tool selection is ensured.
Numerous additional functions incorporate the manifold requirements of automatic processing and manufacturing, e.g. separate CNC programmes for processing on both sides. Imos CAM Standard is the prerequisite for an automated manufacturing process.
By numerous existing postprocessors interfacing with a wide range of machine types and WOP-systems are possible.
